Thanks again for another beautiful set of pictures to add to our Simon Burt collection! We just wanted to reiterate how pleased we are with them. They are gorgeous and Simon has really captured so many of Isla’s little expressions and mannerisms! We are really chuffed with them. It’s so difficult to decide which ones are ‘the best’ and warrant going on the wall! When we decided we wanted to have some professional family pictures taken, coming back to Simon Burt was the obvious choice. We were so pleased with our wedding photos two years ago, so we knew we would be guaranteed another set of beautiful pictures. It was no surprise that they were once again, stunning!

I have worked with Simon on both a personal and a professional level. I first met him in 2006 in my role as Marketing Manager for Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall. We initially hired him to cover the launch of this high profile restaurant and we needed someone friendly, reliable, with a good work ethic and who could produce excellent work as we knew the images would be used locally, nationally and worldwide in some instances. Simon fulfilled all the criteria and more. His laid back professional attitude made working with Simon a joy, hence why we used him throughout the 6 years I worked there and he became very much a part of the ‘Fifteen family’. Everybody came to know Simon, from Jamie Oliver himself, directors and managers, to chefs and waiting staff. He was a familiar face amongst us, so much so that we invited him along on the annual sourcing trip to Italy on a couple of occasions as we knew he would fit in well with everyone. I must particularly refer to his attitude towards our student chefs. Some of them could be a little ‘tricky’ at times, but it never phased him, he just got his head down, made them feel at ease and worked with them on a one to one level, producing amazing shots that we hung in the restaurant year after year. It was because of his work at Fifteen Cornwall, that he was then hired by Fifteen London to take portraits of their students as well. He always works well to a brief and would always check whilst on a job if we were happy with the way the shoot was going. He listens to his clients and to what they want and delivers good quality work on time.

We worked so very hard to get Jersey House prepared and styled for its launch that we were absolutely over the moon that we could get Simon to come and photograph all our hard work. His eye for perfection matches ours perfectly and we are so proud to have worked with him on this new venture. The bookings are already rolling in so here’s hoping for many more properties and photo shoots together
