The Captain’s House at St Michael’s Resort, Falmouth is an eight bedroomed house at the highest point of the resort which has just been totally refurbished and designed to match the high standard of the rest of the accommodation.
The spacious interiors nod to Falmouth’s maritime history through their colour scheme and fittings.
All the bedrooms have air conditioning and some have their own outdoor terrace.

An early start was needed to catch the light on the front of the building, followed by a stroll down to Gyllyngvase beach where I was surprised to see so many people out on the water so early, swimming and paddle boarding. Braver souls than me!
The house is now fully open and the gorgeous rooms can be booked at https://www.stmichaelsresort.com

I hope that it looks as if it wasn’t lit at all, that’s my aim! […]
