
I was recently asked to photograph a couple of new furniture installations at Falmouth University for www.pineapplecontracts.com
The brief was to shoot two elements; the huddlebox which was in a dark area used for VR testing. This needed a little subtle lighting to lift the darker areas out of shadow and separate them from the dark background. Then the shacks which were in a large light room. Only a small amount of light from a large softbox was used to lift the interiors of the shacks.
The client wanted product shots as well as wider shots showing the furniture in the workplace.
Thirty five images were delivered by the next morning to a happy customer who said “Thanks Simon, the shots look great – exactly what we were looking for”
