I had two days in the summer photographing Brynowen Holiday Park for Parkdean Resorts.
It was a pleasure to work with Chris and Sue Graves again and the Charles family for the first time. The children couldn’t do enough to help and needed little direction from me – they were even keen to carry bags!
It was my first time at Brynowen which nestles between Cardigan Bay, with Aberystwyth to the south and the Cambrian mountains to the north. It would be hard to find a park with better views. We were there in July and although the park was full, to my surprise Ynyslas beach, just a short drive away, was virtually deserted. We spent the second day here running around in the sand dunes, strolling on the beach and making sand castles.
The images will be used in the company’s marketing as well as on the park’s website and on posters and banners across all relevant parks.

I was commissioned by Cornwall Architect Ben White to photograph a 1950’s concrete block and crinkly tin barn; unused and ‘unloved’ – this had been left to rot for many years. Now lovingly converted into a two-bedroom luxurious countryside retreat. Nestled within a hollow in the edge of a field – hardly noticeable from anywhere […]
I love working as a tourism photographer, as it allows me to take photos of the best things in a region and really show them off!
